Use of chiaroscuro and silhouette of killer to hide the identity

We also had to think of many different ideas to do with our thriller title sequence, we came up with an idea of a 'security camera footage' style thriller. We thought of setting it in a area of woodland or a large park area where we could place a tripod or camera on the trees. We were also thinking of having a figure following the girl or boy  all in dark clothing so only his silhouette is visible, perhaps having the knife visible too. Or we were thinking that the killer should not be shown at all until the last moment to create much more suspense and atmosphere both of these are popular codes and conventions of the thriller genre. As the idea is of security cameras most of the shots would be around medium long shots to long shots, however, I believe we should involve other angles and shots such as the low angle shot on the killer to make them look much more terrifying and powerful. we should also use close ups of the victim so then the audience at least will know of their facial expressions and emotions. I do like the idea of the thriller title sequence being of a security footage themed however I believe it will be hard to include other shots and angles other than long shots and medium long shots.
Possible thriller sequence location (Christchurch Park)

Use of Low angle symbolises the character as being of
importance and is a powerful figure
